The concluding event for the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 is just around the corner. Now it is also clear what content the event will bring. You can expect 8 hours of catching!
When does the concluding event take place? The event will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time.
What kind of event is this? The concluding event for the GO Fest 2022 will take place globally again, so all trainers around the world can participate. It will be the grand finale of this year’s GO Fests.
Do I need a ticket? Yes, there will be a ticket again. It costs 10.99 euros and can be purchased in the shop starting now.
However: If you already participated in the first GO Fest in June 2022 with a ticket, you do not need another ticket. The old ticket will remain valid.
Additionally, there will be a gift option with a discount for groups: Trainers who already have a ticket can buy up to three tickets for friends at a reduced price (presumably €4.99).
There will also be content available without a ticket.
It was already clear earlier that the Ultra Beasts would play a role in the final event of GO Fest 2022. Now all the details are known. We will show you what the event brings.
What does the GO Fest Finale 2022 bring?
Habitats: This is already known from past GO Fests. There will be four rotating so-called “Habitats.” These are two-hour periods during which different Pokémon will spawn.
The habitats are oriented towards various Ultra Beasts, which will also be available as raid bosses during that time.
Habitat 1: Ultra Invasion – Schabelle
The habitat runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and features Schabelle as a raid boss. Additionally, the following spawns will occur. All potential shiny encounters are marked with an asterisk*.

Besides the legendary bosses, you will encounter various bosses in the raids.
- Level 1: Pikachu with scarf*, Milza*, Wuffels*
- Level 3: Relaxo*, Brutalanda, Shardrago*. Arboretoss, Miezunder, Marikeck
Additional content (ticket required) – With Shaymin form change
This is what the ticket offers: If you purchase a ticket, you will receive some additional content during the event.
- Shiny Icognito N and X are appearing for the first time
- You will receive up to nine raid passes from photo discs
- Up to five photobomb surprises
- 5,000 extra XP for won raids
- Smoke lasts two hours
- Triple XP for spinning stops and gyms
- Half egg hatching distance
Additionally, from 10:00 AM local time, you can change the form of your Shaymin if you already have one. It has the sky form and the land form, between which you can switch.
But don’t worry if you don’t have one yet: You can encounter Shaymin at this event as well. Because there are several special research tasks during the event where you can encounter Shaymin and receive avatar items.
Additional content (free without a ticket)
Even without a ticket, you can take home some content from the event. This includes the raids with the Ultra Beasts – everyone can participate.
Additionally, without a ticket, there are:
- A short special research task
- The shiny debut of Somniam in Pokémon GO. It can apparently appear in snapshots.
