In a few hours, the 5th Community Day in Pokémon GO will start. Final preparations are being made.
Trainers are eagerly waiting for the Community Day in May – a three-hour event in Pokémon GO that will increase the appearance of Glumanda in the wild. Additionally, Charizard that are evolved or caught during the event will learn the exclusive Blast Burn attack.
During previous Community Days, new Shiny Pokémon were introduced. Trainers are expected to be rewarded with shiny monsters in May as well.

The Community Days reward Trainers with in-game bonuses like triple Stardust rewards. Shiny Pokémon will also be featured. Although Niantic never officially announces them, they have consistently made their way into the game during these monthly events.
It was previously assumed that the Shiny Glumanda family would be visiting in May. As data miner Chrales showed on his Twitch.tv channel, the crucial sprites are now in the code of Pokémon GO. The most important preparations have been made for us to evolve Shiny Charizard on Saturday.

Blast Burn already nerfed
There is still divided opinion in the community about the exclusive attack that Charizard can learn during the event. The attack “Blast Burn” is now new in the game and has been nerfed before its first use. As PokémonGOHub reports, the attack behaves similarly to “Fury Attack,” but as a Fire attack.
Blast Burn does a lot of damage, but it also has a long cooldown before the attack can be used again.
Even if Charizard won’t become much stronger as an attacker, a dark Charizard shouldn’t be missing from any Pokémon collection. So it’s worth hunting on Saturday.
