The third Community Day in Pokémon GO is fast approaching. Tomorrow, on Sunday, Bulbasaur will be the special Pokémon highlighted in the event. In the past Community Days, Pikachu and Dratini were the special Pokémon, even available in shiny variants. Niantic never announces this, but trainers notice it during the event.
Apparently, there will be a shiny plant family during the 3rd Community Day in Pokémon GO. Shiny Bulbasaur (and thus the family) is confirmed. Good luck catching them!
Shiny Venusaur at the Com Day
Although it has not been officially confirmed by Niantic, a leak of the new shinies has been found. Chrales from the PogoDev team regularly analyzes the network traffic of Pokémon GO and recently noticed changes in the Bulbasaur family.
In the data of Pokémon GO, the shiny variants of Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur are now present. Following screenshots were shared by Chrales with the community:
It looks like trainers will be able to receive these new shinies during the Community Day event in March. This will particularly delight collectors among you, as the shiny versions of the Bulbasaur family have not been available before. We also do not know when they will return to the game. Therefore, you should take advantage of the event tomorrow and catch as many of the monsters as possible.
