Shortly after the start of the Adventure Week in Pokémon GO, three new shiny families were spotted. Have you encountered any of them yet?
On the evening of May 24, the Adventure Week began in Pokémon GO and changed several aspects of the game. Rock-type Pokémon like Geodude and Lileep now spawn more frequently. Some of the Rock-type Pokémon are even available in their special shiny form.
Which shinies are available now? The community has already compiled their findings and can confirm three new shiny families: Aerodactyl, Omanyte, and Kabuto.

Anyone currently out catching Pokémon might encounter the shiny forms of these three monsters by chance. Shinies are rare and therefore popular among trainers. You can recognize shiny Omanyte by its purple color, just like Aerodactyl. Kabuto is green and visually resembles an M&M.
On Reddit, trainer cevoorn shared his encounter with shiny Omanyte.
Trainer alazz shared a screenshot of his shiny Kabuto with the SilphRoad community:

Anyone still looking for special shinies to add to their collection now has a good chance during the event. Rock-type monsters are spawning more frequently in the wild. You shouldn’t miss the chance to encounter a shiny variant.
