In Pokémon GO, you can purchase a research for €9 starting today to obtain Shiny Keldeo. However, the path to achieving this will demand quite a lot from you.
In Pokémon GO, the event “Last Resort” started on November 25, 2025. Here, you can change Keldeo’s form for the first time and bring it into its Resolute Form.
Part of the event is also a paid Masterwork Research that you can purchase for €8.99. The initial tasks of the research are now known. And they are quite challenging.

What tasks are included in the research? So far, only the first of 7 steps of the research is known. However, you will need to plan some time for this step if you want to complete it.
The tasks for the first step are as follows:
- Catch 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region
- Catch 100 Pokémon from the Johto region
- Catch 135 Pokémon from the Hoenn region
- Catch 107 Pokémon from the Sinnoh region
- Catch 156 Pokémon from the Unova region
- Catch Pokémon on 10 different days
For each task, you will receive 647 experience points as a reward. If you complete all tasks of the step, you will also receive 25 candies for Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion.
Catching the corresponding number of monsters from each region will likely take some time.
As soon as the first trainers have managed to complete this step of the research, there will also be information about the next steps.
When can the ticket be purchased? If you want to get the ticket and thus Shiny Keldeo, you have until Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 8:00 PM to get the research for €8.99. You cannot use PokéCoins for this.
Once you have obtained the research, you will have as much time as you need to complete it. There is no time limit for completing the research.
