What you need to know about Season 11 of the GO Battle League
Changes to ranks and evaluations: The maximum rank you can achieve in Season 11 is rank 20. There will be no visible evaluations. Evaluations will not be activated by Niantic in the new season, so that the developers can focus on adjusting the GO Battle League. However, these adjustments are not intended to directly impact league gameplay, which is why they decided to suspend evaluations.
How do Cups work? The cups rotate every week. Some are reissues of special cups you know from the past. Such cups are a reason for PvP skeptics to play trainer battles.
Rewards and formats: The developers see Season 11 as an opportunity to try new things. They want to test new formats for GO Battle Days and for rewards.
Changes to attacks: At the start of the season, there will be no changes to attacks or the availability of attacks, Niantic explains. They are avoiding interfering with the balancing to not affect the World Championship.
Based on the ranking from Season 10, it will be determined who is eligible for early registration for the Pokémon GO World Championship Series. No further details on how the team will proceed are available.
Soon, the developers want to share more information about what to expect in Season 11.
