How does this work? In step 3 of the limited research for the Hyperbonus 2020, you will receive your first encounter with Swablu as a reward. You can start this and leave right away without catching the Pokémon. The prompt to catch will then be listed under the research in the Today view.
This way, you won’t lose the encounter. You will then continue playing until step 5 and encounter Swablu again there.
During the spotlight hour with Seel ditto, you will earn double candies for catching Pokémon. It takes place on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time.
- Complete the research from step 3 of the limited research
- Claim all rewards, but do not catch the Swablu.
- Now proceed with step 4 of the research.
- Claim the rewards of each step, but not the total stage reward.
- After starting the spotlight hour on Tuesday, catch the saved Swablu with a Razz Berry.
- Now claim the stage reward from step 4 – you will catch Farfetch’d.
