What kind of ticket is this? On the occasion of today, March 13, 2022, the Community Day with Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew takes place, there will be a special research event. However, you can only receive this by purchasing an event ticket named “Sand and Snow”.
With the start of the event at 11:00 AM local time, the associated research will be automatically unlocked. Since Sandshrew and its Alolan form are in the spotlight today, the special research also revolves around these two monsters.

Is buying the event ticket for Sandshrew worth it?
What you need to consider: Comparing the ticket price of nearly €1 with the rewards from the research, it quickly becomes apparent that their value is significantly higher than the purchase price of the special research. For the regular purchase of the individual items in the in-game shop, you would need to spend the following costs:
- A Lucky Egg costs 100 coins, which is about €1
- An incubator costs 150 coins, which is about €1.50
- A Rocket Radar costs 200 coins, which is about €2
- A smoke costs 40 coins, which is about 40 cents
