Take the opportunity to catch Crypto-Kyogre
How do I get Crypto-Kyogre? The best reward from the new event is Crypto-Kyogre. You can get this Pokémon if you complete the last part of the Special Research of the season Timeless Travels
. This will be unlocked in the event. Here you can receive a Super Rocket Radar, defeat Giovanni, and add Crypto-Kyogre to your collection.
Why is Crypto-Kyogre worthwhile? This Pokémon is more than a strong Water Attacker. Only the Proto variant of Kyogre and a few Mega Evolutions are stronger Water Attackers than Crypto-Kyogre.
You can also rely on Crypto-Kyogre for the Battle League. In the Master League, the Pokémon can perform well and is a strong addition to your team.
As this is the debut of Crypto-Kyogre, you can also add a new Crypto Pokémon to your Pokédex if you catch it.
Will there be a Shiny version of Crypto-Kyogre? No, you will not be able to catch Crypto-Kyogre as Shiny.
Crypto-Ho-Oh is back – Don’t miss it
How do I get Crypto-Ho-Oh? From January 27, 2024, at 6:00 AM to January 28, 2024, at 10:00 PM, you can encounter this Pokémon in Crypto-5*-Raids. If you defeat it, you have the chance to catch it.
Why is Crypto-Ho-Oh worthwhile? This Pokémon is among the top in the Master League and one of the best Pokémon you can currently use here.
As an attacker in raids, Crypto-Ho-Oh is also a very strong Pokémon. It is a very strong and resilient Pokémon in both the Fire Attacker and Flying Attacker categories.
Will there be a Shiny version of Crypto-Ho-Oh? Yes! You can encounter Crypto-Ho-Oh as Shiny as well.
More good Crypto Pokémon in the event
Which new Crypto Pokémon are worthwhile? There will be an additional 7 new Crypto Pokémon that will find their way into the game. These are:
- Crypto-Chelast: In its final evolution, Crypto-Chelterrar, it is one of the best Plant Attackers in the game for raids.
- Crypto-Panflam: Here as well, with the final evolution, Crypto-Panfermo, you get a strong attacker. This one is of Fire type.
- Crypto-Plinfa: Crypto-Plinfa can evolve into Crypto-Impoleon, which is a solid Water Attacker for raids.
- Crypto-Krebscorps: Features a development with Crypto-Krebutack, which is also a decent Water Attacker.
- Crypto-Schneppke: Crypto-Schneppke has two potential evolutions, namely Crypto-Firnontor and Crypto-Frosdedje. The latter is acceptable in the Super League.
- Crypto-Glibunkel: Can evolve into Crypto-Toxiquak, which is quite a good Pokémon in the Hyper League.
- Crypto-Kastadur: Its evolution, Crypto-Tentantel, is an acceptable Pokémon for the Super and Hyper League.
- Crypto-Lithomith: Contains an evolution with Crypto-Tentantel, which unfortunately is only good for the Pokédex.
