The next limited research in Pokémon GO is known. In March, you will have special tasks related to Shiny Loturzel and you will find Shiny Formeo in the wild.
Why are there Shinys? Niantic announced another limited research for the end of March. It’s all about Loturzel, which you can find as Shiny.
Additionally, Pokémon related to weather will spawn more frequently. There is even a chance for shiny Formeo.
What is known about the limited research in March
When is the event? On March 30, the event will run for a full 9 hours. From 11 AM to 8 PM, there will be the special quests.
The 9 hours of event time should please some players. Because there were complaints about the event duration in past limited research events. Players found it too short.
These are the bonuses: The limited research brings special field research and a small event as well. So there are:
- Special field research focusing on Loturzel
- Pokémon that spawn influenced by the weather appear more frequently. This includes Formeo
- Shiny Loturzel and Formeo (in normal form) can be found
How rare are the Shinys? In the last limited research with Perlu, the shiny rate from the quests was very high. Almost every player got a shiny Perlu. This could also be the case for Loturzel.
How the shiny rate for Formeo will be remains to be seen.
What is known about Shiny Formeo: Only the normal form of Formeo will be available as Shiny. The other forms do not yet have a shiny form in Pokémon GO. So you will mainly have to hunt for the normal form.
There is a new attack: Formeo will also have a new attack. It will be able to permanently learn the move Meteorologist.
