Is Alolan Marowak good?
These are its strengths: Alolan Marowak is a Fire and Ghost-type Pokémon. Its strongest movesets in PvP battles include Fire Spin and Shadow Ball. It performs fairly well in the Super League, but it is not among the top attackers. It also performs well in certain smaller cups. However, the Pokémon has limited use in the Ultra and Master Leagues.
In PvE, i.e., in raids, Alolan Marowak is not a great help.
So it is worthwhile to secure a few strong specimens if you are looking for good attackers for the smaller leagues in PvP. Other than that, it is not really special.

How do you achieve a research breakthrough? In Pokémon GO, you can earn a research stamp every day by completing a field research task. If you do this seven times and collect seven stamps, you will automatically receive a research breakthrough that you can redeem.
As a reward, you will receive XP, stardust, items, and a reward with a selected Pokémon. The Pokémon chosen changes every month.
