Pokémon GO has released a short video for the new season. The community has naturally recognized some content right away.
Until June 3rd, the current season in Pokémon GO “Powerful and Masterful” is running. As usual, this brought some new content to the game, such as the debut of Dakuma and its evolutions.
Apart from a few dates and events, there has been no information about the next season so far. A good reason for Pokémon GO to release a video and tease the first information and content.

It will be summer in Pokémon GO
How long will the new season last? The new season, which is named “Delightful Days” in English, will run from June 3, 2025, to September 2, 2025. It also covers July, in which Pokémon GO celebrates its 9th birthday.
What can be seen in the video? The video shows a long beach, which apparently is Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, above which two shadows of Pokémon can be seen. After that, the silhouettes of three Pokémon wearing party hats are visible.
Later, you can see in the video the further silhouette of a Pokémon that follows a trainer.
What has the community recognized? In a thread on Reddit, trainers identified various contents of the video and made speculations. Saphor suspects that the shadows on Copacabana are Latios and Latias, which could receive their Dynamax forms in the new season.
The three monsters with party hats have been identified by WeaponisedArmadillo as Squirtle, Wartortle, and Bulbasaur. According to the community, the Pokémon that follows a trainer is Dressella in its Hisui form.
Trainer TheRazortooth already has a concrete suspicion regarding how Hisui-Dressella will be available in the game: “It will probably be exclusive in raids, just like Hisui-Washakwil and Hisui-Artkilas”.
Whether all contents of the trailer were accurately identified by the community and when they will appear in the game is not yet known in detail.
Already a few events are known that will take place during the new season. And these not only bring you an increased shiny chance for several Pokémon but also monsters in new strong forms: Pokémon GO makes it much easier for you to catch 6 shinies and introduces 3 really strong monsters.
