Regional Pokémon from 7KM Eggs
At the start of the Ultra Event, regional Pokémon from the 1st Generation will join the Alolan Pokémon in the 7KM eggs. These will remain in the loot for this month.
This means you can hatch the following Pokémon from the 7KM eggs you receive starting from the kickoff of the event:
- Tauros,
- Kangaskhan,
- Mr. Mime
- or Farfetch’d.
Just like the Alolan monsters that have already been found in them for weeks.
How long will the regionals remain in eggs? At the start of the event, on September 13 at 10 PM, the new egg contents in Pokémon GO should be active. They will remain in the game until “end of September”. A specific end date has not yet been announced.
You need friends: To receive the 7KM eggs, you must open gifts from in-game friends. If they send you gifts, there is a chance that there is a 7KM egg inside. But also remember to send gifts to your friends. You receive gifts by spinning PokéStops.

How high the chances for the different monsters are is unknown. It is possible that Niantic will activate a higher chance for the regional monsters, but this is still speculation and will reveal itself after the start of the event.
It is unclear whether the 7KM eggs have location-based contents and whether, for example, eggs from Europe will skip Mr. Mime as loot. After all, we can catch the monster here in the wild.
Tip: Hatch all the eggs in your storage before the start of the event. This way, you will have space for the new 7KM eggs that you can receive after the start of the event. Open the gifts from friends after the start of the event to receive the event eggs.
