Redeeming the Promo Code on Android and iOS

How to redeem the code on Android: It is quite simple to redeem on these devices. Follow these steps:

1. Copy the promo code from this article
2. Open Pokémon GO and select the shop through the Poké Ball at the bottom center of the screen
3. Scroll to the bottom of the shop – below the coins you will find the field for the promo code
4. Here you can simply paste and redeem the copied code – The items should then be credited to your account

How to redeem the promo code on iPhone (iOS): It is a bit trickier here, as there is no field in the shop for promo codes. Proceed as follows:

1. Copy the code from this article
2. Now visit Niantic’s website (rewards.nianticlabs.com)
3. Log in there with your login details or the Google account you also use for Pokémon GO
4. A field will then appear where you can paste the promo code – the items should then be credited to your account

How long is the code valid? You can redeem this code until January 1 at 9:00 AM German time. So you can take your time, but you shouldn’t lose sight of the code.

This is why the promo code is important: With the code, you currently receive useful items. Balls are already scarce, especially as due to current restrictions, you often have to play from home.
