Raid Hour with Regigigas – Information and Counters
When does it start? The Raid Hour with Regigigas starts today at 6 PM local time and lasts for one hour. You will see black raid eggs in the gyms before that, which will hatch precisely at the beginning at 6 PM. The event will end at 7 PM, and the raids will decrease again.
These counters you should use: Regigigas is one of the legendary Pokémon of the 4th generation. It is a Normal type and thus has a weakness against Fighting-type Pokémon. You should take advantage of this weakness and use appropriate Fighting-type monsters.

How many trainers are needed? With the right counters, you can defeat Regigigas with just four trainers. However, if you want to approach the raids a bit more relaxed, you should find a larger group. Alternatively, you can invite friends for remote raids or participate in their raids using Remote Raid Passes.
Is there Shiny Regigigas? Yes, since the Solstice event, Regigigas has also been available as Shiny in Pokémon GO. With a bit of luck, you might encounter a shiny specimen; you can recognize it by its blue color.
Is the Raid Hour worth it? Although Regigigas can shine in terms of high values in attack, defense, and stamina, according to the overview from Gamepress, the available moveset of this Pokémon is not enough to convince in battles against other monsters (via gamepress.gg). Therefore, it is not a suitable candidate for PVP or raids.
Nevertheless, it makes sense to use the Raid Hour, as Regigigas is one of the Pokémon that is not often encountered in the game.
