What is a Raid Hour? This event takes place once a week, on Wednesday evenings, in Pokémon GO. All trainers can participate as long as they have Raid Passes.
For one hour, the number of legendary raids in the game is significantly increased. You will find a Level 5 raid at almost every gym.
This week is all about the Pokémon Kyurem, which dominates the gyms during the event time. We will show you the important information about the boss and the counters against Kyurem.
Raid Hour on December 2 – What you need to know
When does it start? As usual, the Raid Hour will start again at 6:00 PM local time. The eggs will appear earlier at the gyms, so they can hatch on time. The event will end again at 7:00 PM.
Afterwards, you will find more of the new raid bosses that the Gen-6 event brought.
Are there Shinys? No. Shiny Kyurem has not yet been activated in Pokémon GO. You can only catch its normal form.

How many trainers do you need? You can defeat Kyurem with two players at Level 40 using strong counters. However, if you want to effectively use the Raid Hour, larger groups are recommended. This way, the boss goes down faster and you can use the time to start the next raid.
