New raid difficulty for the “Megas”?
What is reported: As reported by Pokéminers, the Megas have their own raid level. “We speculated about this before, but can now confirm it,” writes martycochrane on reddit. The raid difficulty was specifically updated for the Mega Pokémon, as an addition to levels 1-5.
At level 1, the weakest raid bosses can currently be found, while level 5 is reserved for legendary bosses. The new level for Mega Pokémon means that they have their own HP increases, which differ from previous raids.
Moreover, you can also invite friends to these special battles with the remote raid feature.
Quests for the Mega Pokémon?
What’s new: A new category of research tasks has been found. This specifically requires that you evolve a Pokémon with a Mega Evolution.
Additionally, the dataminers confirm that you can gain “energy” by completing quests.
