In Pokémon GO has caused some concerns among players in recent days. Now the developers have reacted and found a solution. We at MeinMMO explain to you what changes you can expect from now on and how the trainers are responding.
What research is it about? On February 24 and 25, 2024, the big global Sinnoh Tour took place in Pokémon GO, bringing you not only lots of monsters and bonuses but also the special research GO Tour 2024: Time will come, space will come

However, this led to much discussion in the community after the event ended and was now changed by the developers shortly after the start of the new season World Full of Wonders
. We have summarized the implications of the changes and what you need to do to resolve them.
Niantic changes 2 tasks of the Sinnoh research
Why were there problems with the research? The special research for the Sinnoh Tour focused on the content of the event of the same name. Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia and their prime forms were in the spotlight. To resolve them, depending on the selected path, you were supposed to catch the corresponding specimen and trigger the respective adventure effect. You could secure this by catching the prime forms.
However, with the end of the GO Tour, the legendary Pokémon also disappeared from the raids, making it impossible for many players to complete the tasks initially. Since such Pokémon tend to disappear from the game for a longer time and no one knows when they will return, many feared they would not be able to complete these quests for months or even years. But Niantic is now giving these players a sigh of relief, as they have adjusted the research.
All new tasks for GO Tour 2024: Time will come, space will come
What has changed? As first trainers noticed when opening their game, the tasks on boards 2 and 3 for the Sinnoh Tour were adjusted by Niantic. Reddit users LiveNeedleworker8759 and Genshi_D show the new tasks in their posts.
Instead of catching Dialga or Palkia and triggering the respective adventure effect, you now have to complete the following tasks regardless of your chosen path:

Board 2/4- Make 10 power-ups with dragon Pokémon
- Catch a legendary Pokémon
GO Tour 2024: Time will come, space will come
Board 3/4- Evolve 3 Pokémon
- Make 20 power-ups with dragon Pokémon
An official statement from the developers regarding the shown changes is still pending at this time (as of March 5, 2024, at 11:15 AM).
What about the other boards and rewards? Boards 1 and 4 and the respective rewards for all quests remain unchanged at this time.

Trainers cheer: Many players on Reddit are relieved and grateful for the change. Some had not expected such a concession and had already resigned themselves to the possibility that the research would be added to other unsolved special tasks in the game. As one can read in the comments on Reddit:
