In Pokémon GO has a broken Deino mask just caused nightmares for trainers. They noticed that the mask has a bug in the game. The back doesn’t close properly, resulting in creepy screenshots.
What’s it about? In the Pokémon GO community, images of a faulty Deino mask are currently circulating. You can unlock the mask for free by collecting stardust. Your trainer then puts it on their head.
However, there is a piece missing at the back of the head/neck, making it possible to see through the avatars’ head.
“This thing is cursed!”
What does it look like? Normally, the Deino mask is black at the back and is supposed to adorn the avatars’ heads down to the neck. But trainer Locid on reddit shows that it doesn’t quite work during a specific pose. Locid writes: “Deino mask does not cover the back of the head in the ‘Rock’ pose, you can see the inside of the head and the back of the eyes.”
If you zoom in on the image a little further, you’ll immediately understand why this image is the stuff of nightmares for many trainers.
What do trainers say about it? On reddit under Locid’s photo, the mask is a big topic. Players are amused but also disgusted by the sight of the eye that can be seen through the back of the head. There are several comments on the matter.

How to get the mask? At the start of the season of origin, Niantic also released a stardust challenge. If you earn a total of 120,000 stardust in the next 27 days, you will receive the mask as a gift for your trainer.
