Gifts from Pokémon GO can be sent from all over the world. One player has set a goal to receive a gift from all countries. He has already accomplished a large part of it.
What it’s about: On reddit , the trainer “farabais” is looking for players from interesting countries. These are the places he is still missing. He wants to receive a gift from every country in the world.
He has already checked off 150 countries. So he is still missing 44 and is currently searching for those countries.
The task is challenging – countries without PokéStops
Which countries is the player looking for? These are mainly African countries and small island groups in the South Sea. Logically, there are only a few or no players there at all. He is also still missing gifts from Haiti or North Korea.
This could be difficult: Many of the missing countries have very few players. Countries like Syria or Afghanistan are included, which are currently war zones. Finding players there is challenging.
There are also entirely different obstacles for the trainer. He reports that some countries simply have no PokéStops at all. He specifically mentions the island groups Nauru and Tuvalu and the African state of Burundi. It’s not known if there are any other countries on his list that lack PokéStops.
Other players report countries where there are only one or very few stops. Somalia, for example, is said to have only one PokéStop at an airport. So it might also be difficult to get to the coveted PokéStop here.
Players want to help: Under his call, there are various players offering their help. A trainer from Senegal has already offered a gift.
There are also other trainers who share their vacation plans and share their friendship code so they can send a gift from there directly.
