Shinies are very popular among collectors in Pokémon GO. A player proves with a screenshot that he caught three of them in a short time and demonstrates great luck.
Why are Shinies so sought after? Pokémon can appear in their normal forms and shiny forms. As Shiny, the colors of the monsters are changed. Their battle stats remain the same. However, they are significantly rarer to find than the normal forms, which is why collectors place great value on catching many of them.
Outside of events, it is much harder to get the sought-after forms. A lucky player saw the shiny stars light up three times in 3 minutes. He shares his luck with the community.
Such luck is hard to come by
The player shows: On reddit, user Sea_Raisin9297 shares his experience and shares four pictures. Three of the Pokémon, one from his Pokémon GO diary listing the times and caught Pokémon.
These are the Pokémon he caught:
- At 15:00 the player caught a Shiny Petznief
- At 15:03 the player caught a Shiny Tannza
- At 15:04 the player caught a Shiny Smogmog
The series begins with Petznief, which is already a special catch. Followed by Smogmog and Tannza even directly in succession. To be precise, it was four minutes in which the player caught the Shinies. The community also notices this in humorously intended comments.
Most, however, express joy and amazement in their comments. A trainer writes, ‘These are 3 of my favorites (that I don’t own).’ Others advise the lucky catcher, ‘Buy a lottery ticket right away.’
