In Pokémon GO new features are coming. This is meant to bring the future.
At the Comic Con in San Diego, there was new information about the development of Pokémon GO over the weekend.
They plan to release a feature that just barely missed the release version and is now being added.
The leaders of the 3 teams are to find their way into the game so that Pokémon trainers can interact with them. They are Candela for Team Valor (red), Blanche for Team Mystic (blue), and Spark for Team Instinct (yellow). In German, the teams are called Wagemut, Weisheit, and Intuition.
Server stability is currently the highest priority in Pokémon GO
Niantic has many more plans for the development of Pokémon GO. They want to have material for several years. It will take that long to implement and realize all the ideas, plans, and features.
Currently, however, the highest priority is on server stability and fixing bugs. Additionally, they want to counter annoying (undesired) player behavior, such as players attacking just freshly conquered gyms.
In the long term, Niantic wants to bring new Pokémon to the game and a trading feature. PokéStops should be customizable by players, and they are also considering Poké Centers. Player wishes like Pokémon breeding are deemed possible, but they do not want to announce anything yet. According to Niantic, the team has only been able to implement 10% of its ideas in the game so far.
