On February 27th, it is Pokémon Day, and the Pokémon GO team is celebrating it with its players. Tonight at 10:00 PM, the event starts and will be active until March 6th at 10:00 PM. What makes this event special are the special Pikachus that celebrate Pokémon Day with festive party hats. If you catch a Pikachu with a party hat during the event, it will keep this hat forever.
You can only find these special Pikachu during the Pokémon Day event, so you should keep your eyes open. It is uncertain whether these Pikachu in this form will ever be incorporated into the game again. Therefore, the time from tonight at 10:00 PM is particularly important for collectors to add a rare specimen to their collection.
It is unclear whether Raichu will also wear a party hat when you evolve a corresponding Pikachu.
