3 new monsters will be coming to Christmas in Pokémon GO . This has already been confirmed by Niantic. We will show you what the Pokémon can do.
These Pokémon are coming: Niantic has announced the events in December and has also mentioned 2 names that are new. One of them can be further evolved. So there will soon be the following Pokémon:
- Petznief
- Siberio
- Frigometri

This is what Petznief and Siberio can do: Petznief does not need to be further considered, as it is only a pre-evolution. The stats of Siberio are as follows:
- Attack value: 233
- Defense value: 152
- HP value: 216
- Max CP: 3042
Siberio is a solid Ice attacker with these values. However, it does not surpass the top Ice attackers Mamutel or Glaziola. If you don’t have a strong Ice team yet, you won’t go wrong with Siberio.
How to get Petznief and Siberio? According to Niantic, Petznief can be found in the wild and at Glacier lure modules. You will certainly find enough Petznief at the Christmas event.
Siberio is obtained by evolving Petznief. For this, 50 candies are required.
This is what Frigometri can do: The Ice Pokémon has no further evolution and can be caught directly as is. Its stats are as follows:
- Attack value: 190
- Defense value: 218
- HP value: 190
- Max CP: 2798
With these values, Frigometri will not cause much fuss. The competition among Ice attackers is too great and Frigometri has too weak an attack value. A PokéDex entry is sufficient here.
How to get Frigometri? The Pokémon can only be obtained by the Glacier module. At least that’s what Niantic announced. It is similar to Kigugi, which can only be obtained from the Moss module or eggs.
Are the new Pokémon worth it? The 3 new monsters will not be outstanding. The 5th generation has significantly better monsters to offer that are not yet in the game.
This Pokémon could come: There is another Ice Pokémon from Gen 5 that would fit Christmas. Gelatini and its two evolutions are the only remaining Ice Pokémon from this generation.
