Today, on August 20, 2021, the 3rd part of the Hyperbonus starts in Pokémon GO. We at MeinMMO will show you which new Pokémon you can expect at this event and which bonuses you can look forward to.
What kind of event is this? As part of the GO Fest, you had the opportunity to earn additional events by solving shared global challenges. Since all 24 tasks have been completed, Niantic has promised three Hyperbonus events.
The first two parts of the Hyperbonus are already over. Today, the third and final part starts. This will bring you 7 cool new Pokémon and numerous bonuses.
When does the 3rd Hyperbonus take place? The 3rd Hyperbonus event starts today, on August 20, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time and ends on August 31, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time. You have just over a week to take advantage of all the bonuses.
3rd Hyperbonus – Here are the Pokémon
For the 3rd Hyperbonus, there will be numerous Pokémon again, as with the first and second parts. The first two events revolved around the themes of time and space. For this reason, you could find thematically appropriate monsters in the game.
In the 3rd part of the Hyperbonus, the focus is on the theme of Sword and Shield and the associated monsters from the Galar region. On this occasion, 7 new Pokémon will be introduced in the game. You can catch them through raids and in the wild. Of course, there will also be a dedicated medal for this region in the game.
Additionally, there will be more monsters available in the game. We will show you where you can encounter which. Pokémon marked with a (*) can also appear in their shiny form with a bit of luck.
Zacian and Zamazenta are the stars of the raids
The two legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta dominate the Level-5 raids during the 3rd Hyperbonus event. They are appearing in the game for the first time and are not yet available as shinies. You will encounter them during the following time periods:
Zacian:
- From Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time
- Until Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time
Zamazenta:
- From Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time
- Until Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time

Pokémon in the Wild
In the wild, Galar Pokémon will also spawn more frequently during the event period. This includes the three new Pokémon: Rafflesia, Wolly, and Legios. The latter two can also be evolved into Slumber and Zwollock. Below, we have listed all the wild spawns that are currently known:

These bonuses await you for the 3rd Hyperbonus
