Last week was successful for many trainers, as Easter 2017 was celebrated in Pokémon GO for a week. In honor of this occasion, there are still rewards and bonuses until this evening, such as double experience points, rare Pokémon from 2KM eggs, and discounted lucky eggs in the shop.
Since the event ends today, you should hurry to achieve your goals. In combination with a lucky egg, you can still gain quadruple experience points in the game for just a few more hours and quickly level up your trainer level.
Pokémon GO: Easter 2017 End – When?
The Easter event in Pokémon GO started a week ago on April 13. The community received the Easter special very well, which had already been announced through a leak beforehand. This evening, the event will end.
The developers mention 1:00 PM PDT – which corresponds to 10:00 PM German time.
Use the increased experience points until then to quickly level up your trainer level. Actions in the game yield double EXP. If you combine your adventures with lucky eggs, you’ll be rewarded with quadruple experience gain.
The special 2KM eggs will only be available until this evening. As the developers explained, there is currently a particularly high variety in the eggs, which ensures that rare Pokémon like Lapras are contained. These rare Pokémon are found in the 2KM eggs that will be collected during the Easter event. If you’re looking for starter Pokémon of the 2nd generation, you have the chance in the current 5KM eggs.
In the shop, lucky eggs are also available at a discount. If you still have coins left and want to replenish your stock, you can do so until the end of the event at 50% less cost. The current offers are:
- One lucky egg: 40 coins
- Eight lucky eggs: 250 coins
- 25 lucky eggs: 625 coins
What the Pokémon GO community can expect after the event is still unclear. However, Niantic stated that there will be cooperative gameplay for trainers in spring. The developers might then utilize this cooperative feature for a big Pokémon GO event in summer, which has been announced by Niantic Japan.
Spoofers are not welcome in the game as Niantic is developing a feature to stop spoofing.
