In Pokémon GO there are three new promo codes available in May 2020 that you can redeem. These contain important gifts for you that are apparently intended to make the “lockdown” due to the Corona virus a little more pleasant.
Update from May 3 at 1:08 PM: Since around 12:30 PM, reports have been increasing that the codes are being displayed as “expired” and cannot be redeemed. It is unclear whether this is a technical problem or if the codes have truly expired.
What’s included? The gifts include 30 Ultra Balls, 30 Great Balls, 30 Poké Balls, 30 Max Revives, and 60 Pinap Berries. So there’s something for every trainer that can be useful.
With the many Poké Balls, the ball problem during the time at home is primarily addressed, which trainers have already complained about.

Currently, the Kanto research is active in Pokémon GO and you will find new shinys like Bluzuk in the wild. Those who go hunting from home and had too few balls in their inventory should significantly replenish their stock with these codes.
How to redeem the gifts? Users with Android smartphones first navigate to the in-game shop of Pokémon GO. Scroll all the way down. There you will find the text field under the heading “Promos”.
Enter each code individually and confirm it to collect the rewards.
Note: You may be shown that the code has already been redeemed. You may have already collected the items or simply need to try again. Also, check your in-game diary. All code redemptions are listed there.
iOS users with iPhones do not have the promo field in the shop. You simply navigate to the Niantic rewards website and log in there. Afterwards, the code entry field will appear. You will then see the credit in the game.
