In Pokémon GO you can now catch the new Pokémon Quabbel. However, this monster is only available through the PvP League. We will show you how to get it.
This is Quabbel: The Pokémon comes from Generation 5 and is of Water and Ghost type. With 50 candies, it can evolve into Apoquallyp. There are two forms of Quabbel. The male Quabbel is blue, and the female form is pink.
Quabbel has not been catchable in Pokémon GO until now, but since the introduction of Season 6 of the PvP League, this new Pokémon is available in the game.
Catching Quabbel – What you need to do
Here’s how to get Quabbel: The Pokémon is only available in the PvP League. At rank 20, you are guaranteed to receive the monster as a reward. At higher ranks, Quabbel will also be available as a reward, but not guaranteed.
Access to Quabbel is therefore similarly limited as with Geronimatz. This Pokémon was also only available in the PvP League at its release. However, you can now also hatch Geronimatz, and it has already appeared in raids.
If you want Quabbel directly, you must necessarily play PvP or find a trainer who will trade the Pokémon. Rank 20 is quite high, and you need to win several rounds to reach this rank.
Alternatively, you can hope that Quabbel follows a similar path as Geronimatz and later appears in raids or eggs. So, if you really don’t like PvP, you might rely on that.
How strong is Quabbel or Apoquallyp? The evolution Apoquallyp can reach a maximum of 2644 CP. However, that is already at level 50.
Apoquallyp stands out due to its resilience in battle. It does not have a high attack value, but it can absorb quite a bit of damage. Therefore, it is particularly interesting for the PvP League. In raids or gym battles, however, Apoquallyp is rather weak.
So, if you enjoy playing in the PvP League, you should get Quabbel. Rank 20 should not be a problem for active players. Another Pokémon, however, has been removed from the PvP League:
