What does the new raid challenge look like?
In connection with the new quests, a new raid challenge has also emerged. As data miners discovered a few days ago, Pokémon GO now has for the first time a time-based challenge for completing raids.
In addition to the already time-limited raids, especially the quest “Win a raid in under 60 seconds” is supposed to provide trainers with a new challenge. This is meant to give you an even greater incentive to win raids within the actual time limit.
While the quest “Win a raid in under 10 minutes” is more of a thematic task that relates to the many slow Pokémon of the event, the second raid quest is already a bit more demanding.
Especially in Mega or 5-star raids, you need multiple trainers to defeat the raid boss in this time. However, this time requirement can also be met relatively easily in smaller raids alone.
Whether there will be more quests of this kind in the future remains uncertain.
