However, there are also reports from trainers who still receive Larvitar as a reward from the quest. So not every player is lucky.
How to get Kaumalat as a quest reward
These trainers get Kaumalat: The chance of getting Kaumalat seems to be related to the XP tests that Niantic is currently conducting. This particularly affects players from Australia and New Zealand, but other trainers around the world are also occasionally affected by these tests.
The affected players then receive more XP through different actions in the game than other trainers. Furthermore, probably only they have the chance to get Kaumalat from the quests.
Could everyone get Kaumalat soon? This could very well be the case. After all, Niantic is currently testing this new XP system. Should the tests be successful, then more trainers will probably gain access to these tests and could also receive Kaumalat.
However, keep in mind that the quest “Land 3 fabulous throws in a row” is quite rare. When you find it, you still have to put in a lot of effort to complete the task. After all, 3 fabulous throws in a row is no child’s play.
