Every player in Pokémon GO now receives daily gifts! The testing phase of this feature is over, and every trainer now receives a guaranteed Pokémon and a few items for free every day.
This is what it’s about: A few days ago, Niantic introduced a new feature that guaranteed you a spawn and a small box in the in-game shop that holds a few items for you daily.
However, the feature was only tested, and not every trainer could benefit from it. That is now different. The feature has now been rolled out worldwide for every trainer.

How does the spawn work? Every day, a Pokémon appears in front of your avatar. The monster will have a circle around it so that you know it’s your daily spawn.
According to trainers, even the rarest Pokémon in the game can appear. A guaranteed catch is therefore not bad. This way, you can also maintain your catch streak without even leaving the house.
What items are available daily? Every day you can go to the in-game shop and open a free box. However, it usually only grants you 2-4 items. You can get potions, revives, or Poké Balls.
Usually, this is comparable to spinning a PokéStop. There are not a ton of amazing items available daily.
While you should try to collect the box every day, if you happen to miss it, you won’t have a huge disadvantage.
Why is Pokémon GO doing this? This feature aims to make playing from home easier. At the beginning of the Corona crisis, Niantic already made numerous adjustments to enhance gameplay from home.
Now, they continue with such features. Another example is the Rocket Balloon. With this, you can fight against Rocket Grunts without having to spin a PokéStop. So you can comfortably fight from your sofa.
