In Pokémon GO there is now the Throwback Challenge 2020 with Ho-Oh. We will show you all quests, tasks, and rewards for the Special Research.
What is this Special Research? This research was unlocked as part of the 2nd week of the Throwback Challenge. You can now solve the Special Research for a whole week, after which the quest lines for the Hoenn and Sinnoh regions will follow.
How long is the Special Research available now? It is available until May 15 at 1:00 PM local time. After that, it will disappear and can no longer be completed. This also applies to the Johto event, which is running in Pokémon GO during this period.

Stage Reward: At the end of this stage, you will receive 10 Rare Candies and an Encounter with Ho-Oh, which knows Earthquake.
You can easily complete the Special Research again from home. This is just one of many adjustments to Pokémon GO due to the corona crisis. For example, there are also raids from home that you can solve with a Remote Raid Pass.
