Niantic has extended the time in which Kangaskhan, Tauros, Porenta, and Pantimos can hatch from the 7 KM eggs in Pokémon GO.
What’s new? Due to the Ultra Event in Pokémon GO, regional Pokémon Kangaskhan, Tauros, Porenta, and Pantimos are currently hatching from the 7 KM eggs. Initially, this was only supposed to be active until the end of September. However, Niantic unexpectedly extended the duration of the event by another week.
Regional Pokémon from 7 KM Eggs – How long?
How long will the Regionals stay in eggs? On Pokémon GO’s social channels, the developers announced that the regional Pokémon Porenta, Kangaskhan, Pantimos, and Tauros can be hatched from the 7 KM eggs until October 8.
How do you get these eggs? You receive the 7 KM eggs by opening gifts from friends. There is a chance to receive a 7 KM egg along with other items such as Stardust or Poké Balls. Therefore, it is advantageous to have many friendships in Pokémon GO to replenish your egg supply.
Normally, trainers find the regional monsters in Pokémon GO in these regions.
Not only regional monsters in the eggs: If you hatch these 7 KM eggs, there is also a chance that other monsters will hatch. Alolan Pokémon such as Meowth, Diglett, Sandshrew, Vulpix, Geodude, or Grimer can also be included. Additionally, Tangela and Porygon could also be the result of hatching.
What are the chances of Regionals: There is a higher chance of receiving an Alolan Pokémon from a 7 KM egg than hatching a regional Pokémon. We have listed the hatching chances of the 7 KM eggs here.
After the event, you can still hatch the Regionals: The contents of the eggs are determined the moment the eggs land in your inventory. Therefore, if you receive the 7 KM eggs from a friend’s gift until October 8, you can hatch them at any time. As long as the eggs come from the event, regional Pokémon can hatch from them.
