Hyper Bonuses for the Birthday Event Revealed
Where does the information come from? On reddit, trainer Razzspoons posted during the night of July 2nd that Niantic accidentally “leaked” the Hyper Bonuses for the birthday event. The user explains that dataminers noticed a new blog post that looked like the birthday event blog post. However, the additional details of the Hyper Bonus were found there.
Users took screenshots before Niantic could delete the blog post. It apparently went online too early by mistake.
What is included? The leaked images reveal the following information:
- Hyper Bonuses for the Anniversary Event (July 6 to July 12)
- Grillmak will appear in the wild and in raids all over the world. You even have a chance to catch a Shiny
- Special research for the anniversary event that rewards you with Wash Rotom
- Hyper Bonus for the Battle Weekend:
- Balloons from Team GO Rocket will appear every 2 hours
- Five times Stardust from battle league rewards
- One additional raid pass per day
- 50% more experience points from raids
- For defeating Rocket grunts, you will receive two mysterious components
- 50% more Stardust for defeating Rocket grunts
- Encounter legendary Pokémon in battle league rewards from rank 16
- Evolution Bonus for the Battle Weekend (July 9 to July 10)
- If you evolve certain Pokémon during the battle weekend, their evolutions will learn moves that they could learn during previous events
- Flora Statue: Bulbasaur to Venusaur, Chikorita to Bayleef, Treecko to Sceptile, Turtwig to Torterra, Snivy to Servine
- Lohekanonade: Charmander to Charizard, Cyndaquil to Typhlosion, Torchic to Blaziken, Pansear to Simisear, Tepig to Emboar
- Aquahaubitze: Squirtle to Blastoise, Croconaw to Feraligatr, Mudkip to Swampert, Piplup to Empoleon, Oshawott to Samurott
- Fire Breath: Charmander to Charizard
