When does “World Full of Wonders” start? The new season in Pokémon GO begins on March 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM and runs until June 1, 2024, also at 10:00 AM local time.
What is the highlight of the season? The focus of the new season seems to be on the new Ultra Beast “Venicro”, a poisonous being from the Ultra Dimension. However, while the Ultra Beasts last appeared as dangerous invaders in Pokémon GO, Venicro seems to be rather friendly towards you. According to the season announcement, it appears to share adventures with you.
Venicro is one of the currently missing Ultra Beasts, but it has a special feature: it can evolve into Agoyon.

But there are also other exciting monsters to expect. The trailer shows, for example:
- Crypto-Mewtwo, which is likely returning
- Proto-Groudon and Proto-Kyogre, also powerful Pokémon
- Knarbon and its evolutions Crimanzo and Azugladis are included and already have their own event in sight
- The Pikachu with captain’s hat is visible
- Additionally, the announcement also mentions Crypto-Entei, Suicune, and Raikou
