In Pokémon GO the content of the new season “Hidden Gems” has been revealed. We at MeinMMO show what content, spawns, and bonuses await you starting June 1st in the new season of the game.
What season is it about? The 10th season under the name “Rising Heroes” will end on June 1st, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time and will be replaced by the new season named “Hidden Gems”. After there were already first speculations about new monsters, the contents are now known.
This season should be all about “Hidden Gems,” as the 11th season is also called in German. Therefore, you can again expect a lot of events, spawns, bonuses, and special features. One of these highlights will be this year’s GO Fest.

When does the 11th season start? The new season “Hidden Gems” starts on June 1st, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time and will be active for exactly 3 months. Thus, it will end on September 1st, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time.

All events for season Hidden Gems
As in every season, you can also look forward to plenty of events in the season “Hidden Gems.” First and foremost, this year’s global GO Fest will take place. But that’s certainly not all, because over the next three months, you can also expect special theme events in addition to the Community Days in June, July, and August.

All new monsters at a glance
At the start of the new season, you can also encounter one or the other new monster in Pokémon GO. Niantic has already announced the first 3 Pokémon; however, more are expected to follow.
Sankabuh & Colossand: The new season kicks off with the Water Festival: Beach Week, where the Ghost and Ground Pokémon Sankabuh will make its debut. It visually resembles a sand heap with a red shovel sticking out.
You can obtain Sankabuh during the event from Raid battles of level 1 and field research. With the help of 50 candies, it can be evolved into Colossand, which visually resembles a sandcastle.
This was also the reason why it has already been suspected as a new monster by many players since the release of a first teaser for the new season by many players.
Rocara: Another new Pokémon in the game is Rocara. The Rock and Fairy Pokémon from the 6th generation of games will be found in Pokémon GO during the new season. You can recognize it by its gray, rock-like body, long, pointed ears, and the crystals on its body and head. Its eyes are light blue and it wears a white scarf.
It thematically fits perfectly into the new season “Hidden Gems.” Rocara does not have a further evolution. When exactly it will be possible for you to find the gem Pokémon is not yet known at this moment. As soon as there is new information, you will find out about it at MeinMMO.
Mega-Despotar: On July 25th, a new Mega Evolution will finally debut in the game that trainers have been waiting for a long time: Mega-Despotar. The Rock Pokémon can then be fought in the Mega Raids to collect the corresponding energy.
And you definitely shouldn’t miss it, because Mega-Despotar will then be one of the best attackers of its type.
All spawns and shinies of season 11
With the start of season 11: Hidden Gems, not only will new events be provided and new monsters released, but also the wild spawns and content from eggs will be correspondingly adjusted.

Interesting monsters from raids
Over the coming weeks, you will encounter various bosses in the raids again. Especially the new Crypto Raids with Crypto Articuno will be interesting for many players since you can catch the legendary bird in this form for the first time as shiny.
