Pokémon GO starts the new season “Heavenly Teamwork”. What you can expect, we summarize here.
When does Heavenly Teamwork start? The season begins on June 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
When does the season end? It runs until September 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Thus, it will run as usual for roughly three months, but plus two days.
What are the highlights of the season? The most likely highlight will be the GO Fest, which will take place during the season – first in local variants, then as a global event for all players. Necrozma, its fusion forms, Lunala, Solgaleo, and even Marshadow will appear there.
However, as is customary with seasonal changes, many things in the game will be rearranged. This applies to wild spawns, research breakthroughs, and similar aspects. Numerous events will also take place throughout the season.

What’s in store? Based on the trailer, several powerful monsters are likely to return to Pokémon, and there is also a big debut for the GO Fest 2024.
- Mega-Rayquaza is obviously returning. Only when is still unclear. It is currently considered the most powerful Pokémon in Pokémon GO.
- Necrozma debuts in Pokémon GO. It is already clear that it will appear at the local GO Fests, just like at the global GO Fest in summer.
- Additionally, Necrozma brings the fusion with Solgaleo and Lunala. Through the fusion, it will become extremely strong, more about that here.
- Moreover, Crypto-Lugia will apparently return.
- Melmetal is also seen in the trailer.
- Yveltal will play a role.
- Furthermore, we see the Ultra Beasts, who will also participate in the GO Fest:

During the season, the following bonuses apply.
- You will receive a limited research task every month.
- An additional special trade per day is available.
- Walking with buddy Pokémon has an increased chance to yield XL candies (from level 31).
- The first catch of the day gives you more XP.

First events of the season
The first events are already known, but more are likely to follow.
First, the Community Days have already been revealed – at least the dates, while some of the monsters have also been hinted at.

The June dates are expected to bring Viscora and Feurigel according to teasers.
Additionally, for the start, the “Stadium Sights” event has been announced. Besides that, the GO Fests in summer are on the way.
