Pokémon GO has announced the research breakthrough for November and December 2019. There will be 5 legendary Pokémon available, much to the joy of many players.
Which Pokémon are included? In the breakthrough, there are now 5 Pokémon, all of which are already known from previous breakthroughs. They are:
- Articuno
- Zapdos
- Moltres
- Kyogre
- Groudon
They replace Eevee with the flower crown, which you could obtain for 2 months.
All about the breakthrough in November and December
When does the new breakthrough start? From tonight, November 1st, you can obtain the 5 Pokémon. At 9 PM, the new reward will be available.
What do you have to do for the breakthrough? You must complete field research on 7 different days. On the 7th day, you will receive the research breakthrough as a reward. It includes one of the 5 Pokémon and useful items, such as the Unova Stone.
No more Eevee
How is the breakthrough received? This research breakthrough isn’t particularly spectacular, but many players prefer the legendary Pokémon over Eevee. There was a lot of criticism when Niantic included Eevee in this reward.
JosephBayot writes on reddit: “Not super exciting, but definitely better than flower crown Eevee.” This statement resonates with many trainers.
That’s why players hope: For 2 months, there hasn’t been any Eevee available in the wild. Only the breakthrough provided you with this Pokémon. Now players hope that Eevee will return to the wild.
Which Pokémon is best in the breakthrough? All Pokémon are interesting because they can all be shiny.
In terms of usability, Groudon and Kyogre are probably the best. Groudon is among the best ground attackers and Kyogre is the best water attacker alongside Kingler.
Moltres is also not bad, but there is now a lot of competition in the fire type. Articuno and Zapdos are solid attackers, but not the best in their types.
