In line with the Detective Pikachu event, there are new raid bosses in Pokémon GO. Many of these bosses are big fan favorites. We show you the list.
These are the bosses: The new raid bosses revolve around Pokémon that are also featured in the movie “Detective Pikachu”. Many of these Pokémon are player favorites and have not been part of raids for a long time.
For example, there are Charizard and Snorlax from the first generation, which are among the absolute favorite Pokémon of many players.
These are the raid bosses for the Detective Pikachu event
| Raid Level | Pokémon |
| Level 1 Raid (red egg) | Psyduck Trubbish Snubbull Lotad Shinx |
| Level 2 Raid (red egg) | Flanks Alolan Exeggutor Slurpuff Griffel Octillery |
| Level 3 Raid (yellow egg) | Gengar Arcanine Machamp Alolan Raichu Flareon |
| Level 4 Raid (yellow egg) | Charizard Tyranitar Alolan Marowak Snorlax |
| Level 5 Raid (black egg) | Vespiquen |
These are the favorites returning: Charizard and Snorlax are back in Level 4 Raids! The Pokémon haven’t been part of raids for a long time, so the return is definitely celebrated.
To defeat these two Pokémon, however, you need at least 2 players. Only a few Level 4 Raids can be beaten alone.
Where you can snag Shinies: The Level 1 Raids are typically full of Shiny checks again. But there are also some possible Shinies in the other raid levels:
- Psyduck
- Trubbish
- Snubbull
- Lotad
- Shinx
- Griffel
- Flanks
- Alolan Raichu
- Alolan Marowak
What about legendary raids? Here Vespiquen remains for us. In this event, there is no new Level 5 Raid. However, hints for an upcoming raid week have already been found. It remains to be seen whether this week will fall within the event or will take place afterwards.
How long will the raid bosses last? The bosses will remain as long as the Detective Pikachu event lasts. This ends on May 17 at 10 PM. After that, the normal raid bosses from May will return to the arenas.
There are also 4 new quests in the current event. Here’s how to solve them:
