The raid bosses of Pokémon GO have changed as of March 2021. In this overview, we show you which bosses are now active and which are worth it.
What’s new? In Pokémon GO, the legendary season started for players today, on March 1st. This means that some bosses can now be found newly on the arenas. At level 1, level 3, and level 5, as well as in mega raids, you will now find new opponents.

The season in Pokémon GO changes regularly. The developers then unlock bonuses that fit a larger theme during this period.
In March 2021, the first Therian forms enter the game. But first, you will find the Incarnate forms of Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus.

You see this here: In the following table, we list all the bosses that you can currently find in Pokémon GO. Keep in mind that you can also catch bosses marked with a star (*) as shiny. To see the shiny form, you must be lucky after defeating them.

Counters for Landorus
Landorus has not been a boss in Pokémon GO for a long time. To deploy the most effective team in battle, we show you the most important counters against the raid boss. Landorus is of the ground and flying type. This makes ice attackers particularly effective as counters. Water Pokémon are also a good choice, but not quite as effective as ice.
Use these counters:
- Shadow Mamoswine with Powder Snow and Avalanche
- Mewtwo with Confusion and Ice Beam
- Glaceon with Ice Shard and Avalanche
- Rossana with Icy Wind and Avalanche
- Glaceon with Icy Wind and Avalanche
- Galarian Frosmoth with Ice Fang and Avalanche

Which bosses are good?
These raids are worth it: Which raids you should do now depends individually on your goals. Here we look at the raid bosses that are good as attackers in your collection, and therefore worth it.
- Swablu – Catch many of them, because the second evolution Mamoswine becomes the best ice attacker.
- Sneasel – The evolution Glaceon is one of the best ice attackers in Pokémon GO.
- Rotomurf – The evolution Stalobor is one of the best ground-type attackers.
With the evolutions, you then have good chances in the battle against Landorus. The other bosses are rather to be disregarded. It is quite possible that some raids will change again when the raids with Thundurus start on March 6th.
