The Valentine’s Day event 2020 in Pokémon GO has started and brings new raid bosses. We show you the new bosses and tell you which ones are worth it.
Why are there new bosses? On February 14, the Valentine’s Day event started. This also brought new raid bosses that are mainly pink and fit the event.
Thus, the previous bosses are suspended for the weekend and will not be available again until Tuesday, February 18. We will show you what you will encounter in raids until then.

| Level-5-Raid (black egg) | Boreos |
All Pokémon with an asterisk (*) can also be encountered as Shiny.
This is noticeable with the change: Many Pokémon that were previously available in raids are still available. Only a few monsters have been removed and replaced with other Pokémon.
Which Pokémon are worth it? In the 1-star raids, Praktibalk remains quite useful. Its evolution, Meistagrif, is one of the best fighting Pokémon in the game.
With Elektek, Machomei, Keifel, Despotar, and Stalobor, you have some of the best attackers or their pre-evolutions to choose from. A good specimen of these Pokémon is never a bad thing.
Rizeros is also interesting. On February 22, there is a Community Day and this time it revolves around Rihorn. If you get a good Rizeros from raids, you can evolve it to Rihornior on event day and benefit from the strong attack Rock Wrecker.
The highlight of this event is Chaneira. This Pokémon can also appear as Shiny in raids. However, keep in mind that you will need at least 2 players, as it is a 4-star raid.
How long will these bosses last? On Monday, February 17, these raid bosses will disappear. However, it will only be at 10 PM. Until then, you can still participate in the raids. After that, the normal bosses, corresponding to Boreos, will return.
