In Pokémon GO there are now new raid bosses. These include real highlights from the 5th generation and other useful Pokémon against Virizion.
Why are there new bosses? The legendary Pokémon Terrakion has disappeared from the raids, making room for Virizion. With the arrival of the new Pokémon, there are also other bosses that fit in.
We show you all the bosses in an overview and tell you which of the Pokémon are particularly worthwhile.

Which bosses are worth it? A major highlight this time is Lichtel. The Pokémon from the 5th generation has a development called Skelebara, which is among the best fire and ghost attackers. Additionally, Lichtel is quite rare in the wild, making every raid worthwhile.
Floink is also worthwhile. It belongs to the starters of Gen 5, and many players might still be missing its evolution in their Pokédex. Another strong Pokémon is Sichlor. Its evolution, Scherox, is one of the best bug Pokémon in the game.
What stands out here? This time you will find particularly many flying Pokémon in the raids. This is due to Virizion, as it has a double weakness against the flying type. Pokémon like Fasasnob (the evolution of Dusselgurr) and Staraptor are solid counters against Virizion.
How long will the bosses be available? They are probably available until January 7th. Then Virizion will disappear from the raids and make room for the next legendary Pokémon.
In between, the Christmas event might bring other bosses, which will then be replaced by these raid bosses.
