In Pokémon GO there are new promo codes that can secure you practical gifts. But you should redeem them quickly before they expire.

Update from 24.5 at 10:38 AM: The second code for 10 Poké Balls had a tight time limit, which has now expired.
This is what Niantic is giving away: During the Community Days with Samurzel, Niantic is currently distributing promo codes. Here you can get items like Poké Balls or berries.

How do I redeem the promo code? As an Android user, redeeming the code is quite easy. You can simply go to the in-game shop of Pokémon GO, type in the code, and collect your gifts.
You can see whether the code was successfully redeemed in your journal.
If you are using iOS, the process is a bit more complicated. To redeem the codes, you need to visit the Niantic website and log in with your account. Once you have done that, a field will appear where you can enter the promo code. The gift will then be credited to you in the game.
If you are only registered with a Trainer Club account in Pokémon GO, this option is also not easy to implement. You can only log in for the promo codes with a linked Facebook or Google account.
If you still want to collect the codes, you must first link your Pokémon Trainer Club account with one of the other providers. Once you have done that, you can log in with those accounts and redeem the code.
