Which codes are involved? On the evening of July 9, 2024, Pokémon GO announced a new promo code campaign on its Instagram account, through which players can secure the important fusion energy for the upcoming global GO Fest 2024.
From July 9 to July 12, a new promo code will be published daily, provided that the game’s Instagram pages collectively reach at least 2,000 new followers on that day. And it seems this has at least worked on the first day, as the first promo code has now been announced by the developers in their Instagram story and can be redeemed:

How to redeem a promo code?
To secure the fusion energy, you need to pay attention to the following, regardless of whether you are using an Android or iOS device:
- Copy the respective promo code
- Open the homepage with the Pokémon GO Webstore
- Log in there with your game credentials
- Click on “Redeem Offer,” which you will find in the upper right corner
- Now you can paste the copied code and click on “apply”
You will then receive a small message in the webshop that the redemption was successful. When you switch to your game, you will also receive information about the new content and the fusion energy will usually be briefly displayed on the side. If you do not receive this message, you can also track the redemption of the promo code in your journal.
Is the fusion energy worth it? During the GO Fest, you can encounter Necrozma in raids globally for the first time, which can then merge with Solgaleo or Lunala.
