Pokémon GO: New promo code now brings you avatar items – Here’s how to redeem it

In Pokémon GO, a new promo code has been available since January 4, 2024. We will show you how to redeem it.

What kind of code is it? The code comes from a collaboration between Pokémon GO and the brand “Fendi”. It is:

• FENDIxFRGMTxPOKEMON

This code is active from January 4, 2024, and is available for one year, until January 4, 2025.

What does the code provide? Once you redeem the code, you can get hoodies in the Dragoran design for your avatars in Pokémon GO.

Additionally, you can get a matching hat and a shirt for your avatars when you use corresponding PokéStops at Fendi stores. However, there is no code for this; you only get the sweater.

How to redeem promo codes in Pokémon GO?

How to redeem codes in Pokémon GO depends on your device. There are different ways for Android and iOS, and the known method for iOS has changed slightly.

On iOS: Previously, you had to go through a so-called “Rewards page” from Niantic, but it no longer exists in its familiar form. Instead, you now need to redeem codes on the Pokémon GO webstore.

The process is as follows:

• Visit the webstore, the link can be found here (to the Pokémon GO webstore)
• Here you must log in with your account
• Once you have done this, you just need to enter the code

Note: It may happen that you receive the message “Already redeemed”. Check if you receive a notification in-game that the code has been redeemed and that you are receiving the items. There seems to be a bug at the moment.

On Android: Here you can simply click on the shop in the game itself and just scroll down. There you will find the field “Promos”, where you can simply enter codes. Just activate it, and you should receive the hoodie.

After redemption, you should receive the items and be able to customize your avatars with them. You will find the hoodie under the “Sponsors” section.

What else is happening in Pokémon GO? Currently, the ongoing season “Timeless Travels” is focused on the Hisui Pokémon, among other things. This weekend there are some events, such as the new “White Odyssey” event or the Community Day with Bauz. But that is not all that is happening in Pokémon GO in the coming weeks.
