How you redeem the codes depends on your smartphone. In Pokémon GO, the procedures differ slightly between iOS and Android. While on Android you can easily redeem codes in the game, on iOS you have to go through an external website.
On Android devices: If you are playing on an Android device, you can simply redeem promo codes in the in-game shop. You just have to scroll down until you find the “Promos” field. There, you enter the code, confirm, and then the items should go into your bag.
