In Pokémon GO there has been a new promo code since November 27. It works for all players, but you only have a few days to redeem it.
What kind of code is this? Promo codes for Pokémon GO are often released. You can redeem these codes either in the game or on a relevant website to easily secure some gifts.
This time, however, there are no items given away, but rather the Mini Collector Challenge: Anego and a medal. The code from November 27 is:

What’s included? The unlocked mini-research can be found in your Today overview in Pokémon GO. You are to catch Anego and will receive extra candies for it. The event with the Ultra Beasts this Sunday is quite suitable for this.
If you don’t see the research immediately after entering, it may help to close and restart your app.
How long is the code valid? You can redeem it immediately, and you should do so while you can. You can only redeem it until November 30 at 11:59 PM local time. The code was originally supposed to be shared in a livestream at an inconvenient time. But apparently, Niantic listened to the trainers’ feedback and decided to release a global code that is valid for longer than 15 minutes.
How to redeem promo codes in Pokémon GO
How you redeem the codes depends on your smartphone. In Pokémon GO, the procedures between iOS and Android are slightly different. While you can redeem codes easily in the game on Android, you have to go through an external website on iOS.
On Android devices: If you are playing on an Android device, you can simply redeem promo codes in the in-game shop. You just need to scroll down until you find the “Promos” field. There, you enter the code, confirm, and the items should already move into your bag.
On iOS devices: On iOS devices, entering in the shop is not possible, the corresponding field does not exist at all. Instead, you need to visit Niantic’s rewards website. You can find the link here: Redeem promo code (via rewards.nianticlabs.com).
Here, you need to select your linked account and enter the code. If everything worked, you should see a corresponding notification on the website. In the game, you can check in the diary if the items have been credited to you via the code.
