In Pokémon GO, the loading screen has been changed and gives hints about three new cool Pokémon. We took a look at the graphic and show you which monsters are involved.
What image is it about? When launching Pokémon Go, a graphic appears as the loading screen. This is always adapted to the respective season or specific themes in the game. For this reason, it is also regularly changed.
Recently, trainers could see an image that thematically matched the GO Fest 2021 when opening the game. This is now over, and the new Season of Mischief has begun. On this occasion, the loading screen has now been changed.

At first glance, the autumn atmosphere of the new loading screen can be recognized. This is further enhanced by the fallen colorful leaves in the foreground. A trainer can also be seen walking along a building.
Behind him, several Pokémon are climbing on top of each other, creating a large shadow monster on the wall. Some trainers suspect a connection with Halloween. PhantaVal writes: “I have the feeling this is a Pre-Halloween loading screen.” (via reddit.com)
If you look closely, you can also recognize Hoopa behind the window.
However, attentive trainers have also noticed three new Pokémon in the image.
These are the cool Pokémon from the loading screen
If you take a closer look at the pyramid of Pokémon in the new loading screen, you will notice that three of these monsters are currently not catchable in Pokémon GO. But what kind of monsters are they?
Trainer FalconHokie is excited about the newcomers Coiffwaff, Paragoni, and Dedenne (via reddit.com). We took a closer look at these Pokémon and will introduce them briefly below:
Coiffwaff
Coiffwaff is a Pokémon from the 6th generation of Normal type. It has no pre-evolutions or evolutions. You can recognize it by its dog-like body, with long, white fur and a pointed face. Its nose and eyelids are blue, and its eyes are red.
Paragoni
The Pokémon Paragoni also comes from the 6th generation and belongs to the Ghost and Grass type. You can recognize it by its black ghostly body and the tree stump it has as a head. Paragoni can also evolve into Trombork.
Dedenne
The third Pokémon in the loading screen is Dedenne. It visually resembles a small yellow mouse. Like Coiffwaff and Paragoni, it also comes from the 6th generation. The monster of Electric and Fairy type has neither pre-evolution nor evolution.
Trainers suspect more hidden monsters in the loading screen
On social networks, however, there is still discussion about more hidden monsters. For example, Eagle_Falconhawk sees the Dark-type Pokémon Zoroark in the shadow behind Pikachu (via reddit.com). This is the evolution of Zorua.
Both monsters belong to the 5th generation and are not yet found in the game. Other trainers, like QuietSmellyFart, agree with this assumption (via reddit.com).
FalconHokie, on the other hand, is convinced he can recognize the Fighting and Flying Pokémon Resladero in this shadow (via reddit.com). Like Coiffwaff, Paragoni, and Dedenne, it belongs to the 6th generation. It has no pre-evolutions or evolutions. Based on the generation, it would fit well.
There is also wild speculation in the community on Twitter. Here, some trainers suggest to the shadow of the Pokémon pyramid. For example, sad boi writes: “The shadow looks like Schlingking” (via twitter.com). This suggestion also finds enthusiastic approval among some trainers.
The Pokémon of Dark and Dragon type comes from the 7th generation and categorizes itself among the legendary monsters. However, it is unknown whether these shadows are meant to indicate new Pokémon or if they just resemble them coincidentally with a lot of imagination.
Will the new monsters come into the game?
It is still not known whether the three new monsters will come into the game and when that might happen. However, Niantic has previously hinted at new Pokémon, such as Feelinara, in the loading screen, which then received a release shortly afterwards.
