The big GO Fest of Pokémon GO starts in Chicago on Thursday. Now there is information about the layout, the entry and the special trades. We will show you what is known and what is important for the Dortmund GO Fest.
When does the GO Fest start? It kicks off this Thursday, June 13, and runs all weekend until June 16.
Meanwhile, players on site will have the opportunity to catch rare Pokémon like Unown, Pachirisu, or Hippopotas. For players in Germany, it will also be interesting because Jirachi is likely to be released for the first time. Moreover, additional bonuses may await us.

What about the special trades? It has already been announced that players at GO Fests will be able to make multiple special trades in one day.
This has now been confirmed again, and at least in Chicago, players can make up to 5 special trades on the day they attend the GO Fest.
It can now be assumed that 5 special trades will also be possible in Dortmund. After all, previous information on the GO Fests has been very similar.
This is what players have already received: The medal awarded for participating in the GO Fest has already been given to players. This can be a good indication of whether the ticket purchase was successful because if so, one should already have such a medal.
The medal for the Dortmund GO Fest has not yet been distributed. However, it can be assumed that this medal will also be distributed a bit earlier here.
This is what the layout shows: There is now a plan that shows the entire area in Chicago. There you can also see the different habitats that you can visit.
Similar habitats are also expected for Dortmund. If they are the same habitats, then many different Pokémon can be expected. Niantic itself mentions over 70 different Pokémon in Chicago. It could look similar in Dortmund.
How does the entry process work? There will not be long waiting times in Chicago. Trainers will be automatically admitted on the day their ticket is valid.
The system is likely to work similarly in Dortmund, but the Westfalenpark in Dortmund is a closed park. You will certainly have to identify yourself as a trainer somewhere before you can enter the park. It may take a little longer here.
What else is there to discover? The GO Fest in Chicago has many other attractions to offer. There are:
