Additionally, there are Premier Balls, which can be used at the end of a raid against the boss, as well as Ultra Balls, which were introduced for special situations in battles against Ultra Beasts.
That’s all so far because, as of today, an iconic ball from the main games is notably absent: The Master Ball is still missing in Pokémon GO. However, a new find by the dataminers from “Pokeminers” raises hopes that this could change.
However, one must always keep in mind that these are leaks and not official information. When and whether the content will come into the game or be altered is still uncertain.
Dataminer finds new hint for the Master Ball in Pokémon GO
This was found: In a new “APK teardown” of version 0.261.3, the Pokeminers found various contents. Among other things, the “competitions”, which were recently found, have apparently been removed again.
However, according to the dataminers, there is also a type of tutorial for the introduction of the Master Ball included in the data. There are no further details available yet, but the Pokeminers emphasize that it sounds like this Master Ball tutorial could be coming into play sometime soon.
Players have been waiting a long time: Data about the Master Ball has been present in Pokémon GO for a long time, but the powerful ball has never been unlocked. Therefore, there have been ongoing discussions over the years about how the ball could be used when it is finally released.
The Master Ball in the main series has the property of being able to catch any Pokémon with 100% certainty. However, it is consequently very rare.

Other users write that they would throw the ball directly at the Galar birds, as these are likely to simply flee when encountered. Others emphasize that 100CP bosses from raids would also be a good target. And some other players say they don’t even know what they would use the ball for – at least if you only get one like before.
